Gemologist inspected Our in-house Gemologist and co-founder inspects each opal to meet our high quality standards. Each triplet opal is classified as "precious" gem quality due to its vibrancy. It must display a bright and impressive “play of color” or "fire". This refers to the splashes of bright, colored light refracting off of the gem.
